Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). If your model doesn’t have preheat, run it empty for 3 minutes. A hot start helps the muffins crisp fast.
Prep the muffins. Split each English muffin with a fork for a nooks-and-crannies texture. If you like extra crunch, lightly toast the cut sides in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes before topping.
Brush or spray lightly with olive oil. This step is optional, but it promotes browning and adds flavor.
Add sauce. Spread 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on each half. Go light to avoid sogginess—just enough to coat the surface.
Layer the cheese. Sprinkle a thin layer of mozzarella, then add toppings, then finish with a bit more cheese to “lock” everything in place.
Season. Add a pinch of oregano and garlic powder. Finish with Parmesan if you like a salty, nutty kick.
Arrange in the basket. Place the mini pizzas in a single layer. Do not overcrowd. Work in batches if needed.
Air fry for 5–7 minutes. Check at 5 minutes. You’re looking for melted, bubbly cheese and golden edges. Thicker toppings may need another minute.
Cool briefly. Let them rest for 1–2 minutes so the cheese sets. Add fresh basil or arugula right before serving.
Serve hot. A quick dusting of crushed red pepper or a drizzle of hot honey can take them over the top.
