Air Fryer Frozen Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients
  

  • Frozen mozzarella sticks (any brand you like; keep them fully frozen)
  • Cooking spray or oil mister (optional, for extra crispness)
  • Marinara sauce (or your favorite dipping sauce)
  • Optional garnishes: Grated Parmesan, red pepper flakes, chopped parsley

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes. A hot basket helps the breading crisp up fast before the cheese starts to ooze.
  • Arrange the frozen sticks in a single layer. Don’t thaw them. Space them out so the hot air can circulate. Crowding leads to soggy spots and leaking cheese.
  • Lightly spray with oil (optional). A quick mist over the tops adds a touch more crunch, especially if your brand has a thinner breading.
  • Air fry for 5–7 minutes. Start checking at 5 minutes. They’re done when the coating is golden and you see the very first sign of softening at the ends. Avoid overcooking or cheese will burst out.
  • Let them rest 1–2 minutes. This brief pause helps the cheese settle so it’s gooey but not lava-hot.
  • Serve with warm marinara or your favorite dip. Add Parmesan or parsley if you like a little extra flair.
