Air Fryer Frozen Garlic Bread

Cook Time 6 minutes
Pre-heat 3 minutes
Total Time 9 minutes

Ingredients

  • Frozen garlic bread (sliced loaf or Texas toast)

Optional add-ons:

  • Shredded mozzarella or Parmesan
  • Fresh parsley or basil
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Garlic powder or minced fresh garlic (for extra punch)
  • Olive oil or melted butter (for brushing, if desired)
  • Nonstick spray (optional, for the basket)

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 2–3 minutes. Preheating helps the bread crisp evenly right from the start.
  • Arrange the frozen bread in a single layer. Do not thaw.Place slices cut side up, with a little space between each piece. Crowding traps steam and softens the crust.
  • Air fry for 5–7 minutes for regular slices. Start checking at 5 minutes. You want golden edges and a lightly crisp top with a soft center.
  • For thick Texas toast–style garlic bread, cook 6–9 minutes. Thick slices need a bit more time.If the top is browning too fast, reduce heat to 330–340°F and add 1–2 more minutes.
  • Add cheese in the last 1–2 minutes, if using. Open the basket, sprinkle mozzarella or Parmesan, and finish cooking until melted and bubbly.
  • Optional flavor boost: When done, brush lightly with melted butter, then sprinkle parsley, a pinch of garlic powder, or red pepper flakes.
  • Serve hot. Garlic bread tastes best right away, while the edges are crisp and the middle is tender.
