Preheat the air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for 3–5 minutes. A preheated basket helps the wrappers crisp evenly.
Unwrap the egg rolls and keep them frozen. Do not thaw. Thawed egg rolls can burst or turn soggy.
Arrange in a single layer in the basket. Leave space between each roll so air can circulate. Avoid stacking.
Air fry at 370°F (188°C) for 10–12 minutes for standard-size egg rolls. Turn them halfway through at the 6-minute mark.
Check doneness: The exterior should be golden and crisp, and the center should be hot and steamy. If needed, cook 2–3 more minutes.
For mini egg rolls: Cook at 370°F (188°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking or turning halfway through.
For extra crunch: Increase heat to 390°F (199°C) for the last 2 minutes. Watch closely to avoid over-browning.
Rest for 2 minutes before serving. This helps the shells set and prevents burns from the hot filling.
Serve with sauces and any garnish you like. Plate immediately for maximum crispness.
